Steve Cline and his band are great!  I had the pleasure of seeing their talents displayed at several occasions in the St. Louis area.  They have always been a class act.  Their audiences have enthusiastic responses to their music.  Even the are play we gave them at KIX 104 was greatly received.

WFMB COUNTRY 104.5FM

. . . has proven his acceptability on the air with WFMG radio when he aired his song “Your Own Medicine” in 1992.  The listeners ate it up! “Where can I buy this tape?” was the biggest question asked on our request lines for weeks. I’m not talking about a man with a nice voice. I’m talking about a complete entertainer who can sell lots of product with his music and charisma!

KIX 104 FM (no longer on the air)

It has been my extreme pleasure and good fortune for the 3 years I was associated with Kix 104.1 FM to have been associated with the members of the Heartland Band.

KIX 104.1 FM used them as performers for nearly every single major event we undertook, from our annual charity fundraising Chili Cook-off to benefits for the families of the troops who went to the Gulf to our VERY for-profit annual New Year’s Eve party The Heartland Band drew’em in, in droves, every time!

They are all of them consummate musicians and performers. . .and they’re genuinely nice guys too

Steve Cline and the members of his band captured my attention as well as the hearts of my listeners. We first introduced his music on KIX 104 in the Fall of 92 to great acceptance.  I must add that KIX 104 was not quick to add independent record company products, much less an act with no Nashville backing.

After getting to know Steve, listening to his material, and seeing his performance in live/club settings, I realized he had the talent and drive to “make it” in the country music business.
